Hi my name is Shelley I am from Ontario.
I have a huge Mulberry tree in my front garden. This is our first year in our new house and what a delight to have this beautiful fruit tree. I have not made jam in a couple of years and we have been picking non stop for weeks and still theres more to come. I just made my first batch of mulberry jam and wow so nice. It's not like we can find it at any of our grocery stores. I hope you enjoy your jam as much as my family has.

Thank you! Your web page has helped me a great deal.

[...] It’s been quite a few years since I made any jam, and I plan to rectify that in a few days. I posted the recipe on this blog in one of my very first posts, in fact. I think once again, as I do every year, that the mess is small price to pay for such generous abundance. The tree reminds me of the giving tree in the story by Shel Silverstein. It only wants to give what it can: shade, fruit, and a nice place to sit. [...]
